About The Class
Our class, Engineering Design and Development, is the capstone course for the engineering curriculum at DCHS. EDD incorporates real-world skills and knowledge into a class-based setting with the common goal of reverse-engineering, improving, and racing a Go-Kart.
Class Teams
The class is split into three teams. Each team has four to five group members each with their own kart. The teams are responsible for testing, improving, and maintaining their own karts.
Finances
Each team in the class is responsible for raising their own funds. The amount of funds that are required varies with each team.
